Wiz

This animated showcase for Wiz brings together cut-out and frame-by-frame animation. The film uses an illustrated visual world to present technology through movement and storytelling.

The communication challenge

A technology showcase needs to give an audience a way into the product’s ideas while keeping a recognizable brand presence. For Wiz, the creative treatment centers on illustration and motion, rather than treating the explanation as a sequence of static product statements.

Combining animation techniques

The production mixes cut-out elements with frame-by-frame movement. That combination lets the film draw on different kinds of timing and performance within a coherent design direction. The finished showcase above is the reference for the project’s visual approach.
