This Is Why I Got No Friends- The Birdsman- Tal Menkes
"This Is Why I Got No Friends" gets introspective in The Birdman, a chapter inspired by a personal event that left Tal Menkes reflecting on life in unexpected ways. Through a surreal and poignant encounter with Birdman, this episode dives into the moments that make us pause and reconsider everything. Equal parts thought-provoking and strangely funny, it’s a glimpse into the beautifully weird corners of Tal's mind. Check it out, and get ready for a dose of existential humor. Published on the video platform:
This Is Why I Got No Friends’ is an ongoing animated series born from the ongoing collaboration between writer Tal Menkes and Poink Studio.
Together, we explore the absurd, awkward, painfully honest moments that make us deeply human.
The series is minimalist in form and maximalist in emotional punch.
Simple lines. Soft palettes. Short dialogues that land like a punchline and a confession at the same time.
Humor sits right up against vulnerability – sometimes they overlap.
Each episode is a tiny world of its own”
